Needless to say, it was a very rough night across Chicagoland. As of 7 a.m. we’ve received approx. 4″ of rain in Hoffman Estates. The NWS has issued a flood warning effective until 9 a.m. After touring the course, we are open for play although carts will be restricted to cart paths only throughout the day. Bunker playability will be an issue with standing water and washed out sand; our staff will begin pumping out water and restoring sand once storms have moved out of the area. Greens will be mowed later this morning and should be in good condition throughout the weekend. Thanks for coming out and have a good day.
